[:en]In the port of Monaco we were once again overwhelmed by the many stunning yachts. Since it was not my first time in Monaco, we had decided to start the day slowly. First we took a picture from the balcony overlooking the casino. And then disembarkation. Most impressive for me is Monaco-Ville. Monaco-Ville is the area on the hill, which is right at the cruise terminal. There are nice little alleys. Only to walk up is difficult. But there is also a bus. The tickets can be bought on the bus. Line 1 and 2 go from the end of the harbor up to Monaco-Ville. First we went to the square in front of the Prince’s Palace. From there you had a wonderful view of the bay and of the Jade.
After that we were strolling, visited the grave of Gratia Patricia in the St. Nicholas Cathedral and then we went back to the fortress wall overlooking the sea, passed the beautiful gardens and then returned to the ship.

I visited Monaco this February. Not on a cruise but just on a day trip from Nice. It was a really interesting place, I ended up completely lost and went to McDonalds (what an adventurous traveller I am)
ha ha 🙂
