TWO CRUISING SISTERS
We have been going on cruises together for over 10 years and discovering the world together. On our blog, we would like to share our experiences with our readers and give valuable tips for your next cruise. Despite the 14-year age difference, there is nothing better for us than going on trips together. We grew up in Gothenburg, Kiel and St. Petersburg. Our constant proximity to the sea also gave rise to our love of boating, sailing and cruises.
LOVE
TO THE SEA
There's nothing better for us than to completely relax with a view of the sea. We want to discover as much of the world as possible and cruises are of course particularly suitable for this. Waking up in a different city or even a different country every day is an absolute highlight for us.
ABOUT US IN THE MEDIA
"In Germany, they have found a gap in the market. They give the general public advice on cruise tourism and also get in touch directly with readers if they have any questions. So if a fan wants to know something about the new sun loungers on a ship, the Cruise Sisters test them and then report on them."
Koehler's Cruise Guide: "A cruise is an ideal family trip because everyone can find something they enjoy. This was the experience of Janice and Juliet Altmeyer, siblings with over ten years of age difference [...]. What they offer is a mix of personal diary and journalism. Feelings are filtered a little, but there is always a small city guide with tips on where to go."
E2MAG (Hapag-Lloyd Cruises): "Two sisters with one passion - cruises. There can only be one name for this: Cruise Sisters. Janice Schmidt-Altmeyer and Juliet Altmeyer grew up in Sweden. Perhaps that is the source of their passion for life on the water. And what started with a rowing boat on a lake, the two are now continuing on cruise ships. In their blog, they successfully report on their diverse travels and recommend entertaining bucket lists to their readers."
"The two sisters are passionate cruise travelers and know their way around the industry, which is why they founded their own travel blog Cruise Sisters in 2015. And they are very successful with it. They were recently nominated for the Wave Award 2018 in the "Favourite Cruise Blogger" category - an award presented by Real Response Media, the publisher of industry magazines such as World of Cruising and Cruise Trade News, to all areas of the cruise industry."
